URI Physical Therapy Workshop
Every year, we are fortunate to have Physical and Occupational Therapy students from the University of Rhode Island visit our school. They take a break from their work in local clinics to play with our students, bring us school and sports supplies, and talk to our students about physical and occupational therapy.
On their most recent trip, we planned a workshop with four rotating sessions in which our students learned all about knee injuries - how they happen, how to prevent them, and how to treat them. The smart and talented students from URI are great role models for our students, and it's no coincidence that some of our students want to be physical therapists when they grow up!
